PKF offices in Europe enhance their commitment to CSR

PKF offices in Europe have today committed themselves to make Corporate Social Responsibility an integral part of their corporate philosophy, with numerous offices, including the Malta office, organising events to help other people and entities which are less fortunate.
PKF Francis Clark’s recently raised over £8,000 for Hospiscare. Seven members of staff at the Exeter branch undertook the Three Peaks Challenge, one of the most challenging mountaineering events in the UK. They raised over £2,000 scaling Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24 hours. The Exeter office also organised dress down days, bake sales and Christmas and Easter competitions.
Furthermore as part of the gender equality drive, Ms Claudia Barrera, Finance Manager at the Chile office, has been awarded a CFA Program Women’s Scholarship Award. The purpose of the Women’s Scholarship Program is to ultimately increase the number of women in the investment management industry, thus improving gender diversity in what is traditionally a male-dominated profession.

Over the past years two years, PKF Malta organise two art exhibitions to fund various charities and has committed itself to organise more similar events. For these events, guests were entertained at the prestigious Casino Maltese hall and encouraged to donate for Muscular Dystrophy group and on another occasion for the ALS Group by buying works of art.
