About the position

Duration: 3-6 months
Commitment: Full-time
The ESG champion shall also identify training opportunities to enhance the same function, including providing suggestions for training to be undertaken by other colleagues.
Qualifications
The individual should hold adequate qualifications and skills in order to perform its role and responsibilities at PKF Malta.

The related qualifications can range from sustainability, environment, chemistry, business.

  • Experience with corporate and financial sector clients is preferred
  • Strong research, analytical, report writing and presentation skills are a must, especially for the provision of consultancy services
  • Networking skills are preferred

Responsibilities and key functions

Engage with clients to deliver top-tier ESG advisory services.

Manage and deliver ESG strategies on time and within budget.

Lead materiality assessments and oversee sustainability reporting.

Present to senior executives and business leaders.

Support colleague development through training opportunities.

Organize events and identify speaking opportunities to promote our services.

Develop ESG strategies and targets, such as net zero roadmaps.

Liaise with internal teams and external experts.

Enable networking opportunities for growth and learning.

Support stakeholder workshops for business clients and financial institutions.

Advise on effective implementation of environmental and sustainability programs.

Evaluate sustainability disclosures and reporting, as part of assurance engagements .

Help clients set and achieve carbon emissions and net zero targets.

Implement ESG management and governance systems.

Manage proposals and business development opportunities.

Keep abreast of the latest regulatory developments and also inform colleagues of such developments, including changes at an EU and local level.

Attend training as necessary to enhance the function

Provide internal training, to the advisory and assurance teams, as deemed fit.
